Toddlers' Multisensory Dive 

We welcome toddlers to the multisensory dive! Rulla's art room will be transformed into an experiential space of creativity, with colours, shapes and different kinds of haptic materials activating the senses. 

Exhibition visit 13:30–14:00 & Sensory Dive 14:00–14:30

Exhibition visit 14:45–15:15 & Sensory Dive 15:15–15:45.

Please inform us of any food allergies after registration to the use of food-based paints as part of the multisensory dive. Also prepare an extra set of clothing and a towel for the child. We advice not to wear the best clothing during the multisensory dive. It is advisable to apply non-scented basic lotion to the skin of the child beforehand. The best experience is achieved when the attending child is rested and not hungry.   

During the multisensory dive, short video clips will be filmed for Rulla’s social media. The videos are filmed in a sensitive manner: we do not film the children's faces. Their agency is presented through the little toes or hands exploring different colours and materials.

Duration:multisensory dive takes about 35 minutes. The whole duration of the visit is one hour. 

Aimed for 1–3 year olds. 

Advance registration for the performances opens on Wed, September 2nd, at 3 pm on Rulla’s website.

In September, Rulla will celebrate Toddler Tuesdays for four weeks, when we invite babies and toddlers into the world of theatre, painting, music and colours. For Toddler Tuesdays, an hour-long visit is booked in advance, which includes the programme and free time at Rulla.
