The Milonga is a part of Tampere Tango Festival 2026 Pre-Festival Program 5.-8.9.2026. The Festival main program takes place 11.-13.9.2026.
Every fall Tampere Tango Festival brings Argentine tango dancers and teacher together to Tampere from around Finland and abroad. This year, the Pre-Festival program includes a Beginners’ Course and a milonga. The main event program includes special workshops by guest teachers for those you already have danced some tango, and day and evening milongas. In the Saturday Night Milonga, we will enjoy the fabulous show by the respected guest maestros. The guest maestros, Marcelo Ramer and Selva Mastroti (AR), are globally known for their high-quality teaching and exceptional tango shows. For them, tango is not just a dance… it is a language, an encounter, an embrace that transforms. For the evening milonga, there are also cheaper spectator-only tickets available.
