Guided art workshops for the Love it! exhibition

The artists from the Love it! exhibition will be conducting art workshops in Rulla in April-May, open to everyone, where you can get to know different materials and techniques with the guidance of an instructor.

Sat 11.4 1-3pm Come and make your own ink work. The workshop is suitable for both children and child-parent pairs. Let's go find out what surprises and images can be found through ink Fast and fun technique that develops imagination and gives you the opportunity to interact with the image and your partner. Directed by visual artist Virve Lilja.

Wed 13.5. 3-5pm Woven Spring Stripes Explore colours, materials and how they interact in a handwoven fabric. The workshop is suited for over 4-5 year-old children (with their parent). The workshop is run by textile artist Niina Hiltunen.

Thu 11.6. 10 am -12 pm Dream horses In this workshop you can use collage techniques to create a variety of horses and ponies. The workshop materials are various papers and supplies. Come and make your own horse figure, with which you can gallop to the summer fields!

Niina Kiiveri is a visual artist and art educator from Tampere. She is a former horse girl and has also worked on the horse theme through art. She is currently interested in soft materials

Sat 13.6. 10.30 am -12.30 pm Dragons and Fire Horses

In this workshop you can get creative by painting a colorful mythical character, a dragon and a fire horse. The workshop is led by yoga artist Ilona Raipala, whose life sometimes feels as fast-paced as dancing on a dragon's back!
