Pikkupiha Opens 2026 – A Winter Day for the Whole Family in Raudanmaa
📅 Saturday 7 February 2026
⏰ 10 am – 4 pm
📍 Raudanmaa, Kangasala – Pikkupiha & Village Hall
Pikkupiha opens its doors for the first time in 2026 and invites you to enjoy a relaxed winter day in the rural atmosphere of Raudanmaa, Kangasala. Animals, tasty treats, reading, and plenty of activities for the whole family await you – both indoors and outdoors.
At wintertime Pikkupiha, you can meet familiar animal friends such as miniature horses, llamas, sheep, and Angora goats. In colder weather, some of the animals stay indoors, and in the Bunny House children can get to know rabbits and guinea pigs.
There is plenty to do at the village hall and in the surrounding yard area:
– an ice-skating rink and skating supports for small children
– a playground and animal friends outdoors
– an obstacle and activity course in the sports hall
– a children’s story and reading corner with the giant Juhani teddy bear (known to friends as Jussi)
– board games and LEGO to play with
In honour of Runeberg’s Day, the village hall will also host an Aku Ankka (Donald Duck) & book flea market, offering plenty of reading material for both children and adults. All proceeds from book sales will be used in full to improve the sound system of the village hall’s sports hall.
Throughout the event, Café Mäyrä will be open, serving tasty burgers, delicious baskets, and special Runeberg’s Day pastries.
The Pikkupiha Opens event is a warm-hearted, low-threshold winter event, especially suitable for families with children and for anyone looking for experiences, togetherness, and good vibes.
Welcome to spend a winter Saturday in Raudanmaa!
