Enjoy a relaxed summer afternoon with activities for all ages, including:
- Live summer music by the Solar Blue band
- Stories and memories of Vehmainen
- Sports and activity stations
- Photo exhibition on the history of Vehmainen
- Outdoor games and a collaborative art workshop
The festival also celebrates the opening of the new Vehmainen Community Garden. The garden has been created in the grounds of Vehmainen School with funding from the City of Tampere's Community Fund, support from local sponsors and the efforts of dedicated volunteers.
A wide selection of food and refreshments will be available for purchase, including sausages, pancakes, hot dogs, pastries and Vietnamese food.
As parking is limited, we encourage visitors to arrive by public transport, on foot or by bicycle.
Admission is free.
The event is organised by the Tampereen Vehmainen Seura, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.
