Tampere Residents' Evening in Kaukajärvi

Welcome to the Kaukajärvi Leisure Centre to celebrate the Tampere Residents' Evening!

The event will be held at the Kaukajärvi Leisure Centre on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. The event is open to everyone and admission is free.

Tampere Residents' Evenings are relaxed events where you can come just as you are. You can drop by for a moment or stay the whole evening. Grilled sausages are available for 150 participants.

The main theme of the Tampere Residents' Evening is the community spirit and activities of the Kaukajärvi-Annala area, which brings residents together to meet each other.

Meeting with residents and discussing the topic with them will be the city's deputy mayor and a large group of representatives of the city, the welfare area, and associations and organisations.

During the evening, you can learn about and express your opinion on the following issues, among others:

• What kind of clubs, events or other activities should be organised in the Kaukajärvi-Annala area?
• Renovation of the Nysse bus line
• Traffic and traffic safety in the Kaukajärvi-Annala area
• Local hiking spots in the Kaukajärvi-Hervanta-Peltolammi area
• The city's public art

During the Tampere residents' evening, you can also learn about the activities of projects, associations and organisations in the area. Might there be something there that captures your interest?

• You can get to the Leisure Centre by buses 8A, 8B and 17. The stop is called Kaukajärven koulu.
• There are accessible parking spaces in the yard of the Leisure Centre.
• There is an accessible entrance to the building.
• There is an accessible toilet inside.
• You can get between floors by elevator.
• The event staff will help with accessibility issues when necessary.
