The exhibition of basic education in art and handicrafts presents works created under the Välähdyksiä theme, alongside students’ personal projects and a wide variety of techniques.
Students of the Adult Education Centre’s basic studies in art and handicrafts have worked on the shared Välähdyksiä (“Glimpses”) theme throughout the spring semester 2026. The main works in the exhibition are the results of each student’s personal design and making process.
In addition, the exhibition features other handicraft works completed during the basic studies, offering a diverse overview of different techniques, materials and creative expression.
The exhibition is open during Library Leija’s opening hours. Free entry!
Applications for studies in art and handicrafts open on 1 May 2026. The Adult Education Centre will publish application instructions online at the end of April.
