Onda Hop

Starting at 19h with a short guidance to warm up for the night and welcome new enthusiasts of swing dances, a short Charleston taster class takes place. After that, our great DJs will play swing jazz, fitting for Charleston, Lindy Hop and sometimes even Balboa. Come and join us! It is also ok to come by the pub to enjoy the music and good vibes, have a drink and then decide if the mood is for dancing. Charleston can be a partner dance, but no partner is required, as rotation of partners happens during the taster class. During the evening, it is customary in Swing dances to dance one song, and then switch partners. Of course you are more than welcome to bring friends or partners along!

To make sure the night goes smoothly, we kindly request to pay attention to our guidelines (or, as we call, our cool dancer's checklist :) ):

• Please be kind to everybody.
• Wear shoes all the time
• And last, but not least, the event is free of charge, so please take a drink as a thank you to the bar for hosting us and allowing this event to happen.

Participants are not insured and, as any dance sport, injuries may happen. In case of doubt, please check with your physician beforehand. Pictures and videos may be taken during the event and may end up in social media. It is difficult to enforce in public spaces, but if you feel uncomfortable with that, inform at the beginning of the events, so that others are aware of it.
