Children's Pirkkaset: Who sleeps and dreams like a dog?

Who sleeps and dreams like a dog? is a musical fairytale play for the whole family that guides not only to process one's own emotions, but also to take into account the emotions of others with empathy. In a workshop related to the performance, children also get to make art themselves, and the works will be put together into their own virtual art exhibition by the end of February.

Tukkateatteri was chosen as the touring performer for the Children's Pirkkaset cultural month. The performance will tour the municipalities of Pirkanmaa in February 2026, delighting children and those with a childlike spirit. The tour happily follows the theme of Pirkkaset 2026, which highlights kindness, empathy and children's own art.

Children's Pirkkaset is a joint children's culture month for the municipalities of Pirkanmaa, during which children's culture is seen and heard throughout Pirkanmaa.

The joint event in Sastamala is organized by the Finnish Book Museum Pukstaavi, Sastamala City Cultural Services, Sastamala Library, MLL Tyrvään-Vammala Association and Sastamala College.
