The new premiere of the Haihara Puppet Theatre is based on Gunvor Grahn's two poetry books, Den röda stämpeln and Den bläa vallmon. The visual performance features poems in both Finnish and Swedish. The poems have been translated by Hanno Eskola. The poems are also interpreted through music composed by Jukka Viitasaari and interpreted by kantele artist Noora Laiho. The performance is directed and written by Terhi Viljanen. Puppets by Jenni Huutoniemi, lights by Juha Kaijomaa, choreography by Linda Kuha. The roles are played by Johanna Ala-Siurua and Terhi Viljanen.
