An art warlk in Gallery Laikku with the curator and one of the artists, presentation on combining art and technology, followed by food and Czech and Slovak music and pieces of history.
Michal Czinege is a Slovak artist who loves to play with what we think we see. He works with large canvases and bold spatial solutions, combining traditional craftsmanship with surprising technologies. His works transform fleeting moments into large, immersive experiences that come alive with the viewer's movement—sometimes clear, sometimes enigmatic, always slightly magical.
Johana Kuncová-Kallio combines her Czech roots and 25 years of living in Finland to share stories and perspectives about the Czech Republic and Slovakia with Finnish audiences. In addition to history, she also brings pieces of culture with her. By translating Czech songs into Finnish, she enables listeners to enjoy not only the melody but also the story behind it.
Johana is accompanied on guitar by Juha Savela.

6:00–6:30 p.m. Visit to the Echoes of Two Homelands group exhibition at Kulttuuritalo Laikku with Michal and Johana
6:45–7:15 p.m. Presentation and discussion: How can I utilize the sounds of dying plant cells? In what artistic contexts is the synchronization of sound and light essential? How do different technologies influence my artistic work, and how can I utilize them? How can the viewer influence a work of art?
7:30–9:30 p.m. Dinner, a little wine, music, and stories from the Czech Republic and Slovakia — Johana and Soňa
