POC Book Club for Families

Welcome to the main library Metso with the whole family to explore diverse children's and youth literature together!

Aracelis and Téri from the People of Color Book club will be at the Metso Library’s Story Room to share book tips from POC authors and read children's books aloud. The POC Book club aims to highlight works by POC authors and promote more diverse representation in literature.

At the event, you can browse and borrow children's and youth books featuring Black and Brown characters!

The event is free and open for everyone!
