Tampere Cathedral Choir presents: Maurice Duruflé's Requiem

The Tampere Cathedral Chamber Choir's concert will feature Maurice Duruflé's Requiem for choir, organ and soloists. The concert begins with a diverse a cappella program, with composers Antonio Bernarducci, Charles Villiers Stanford, Knut Nystedt, Tetyana Yashvili and Arvo Pärt as composers. Pärt's music, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary in September, will also be performed on cello and piano.

Atmospheric and melodious church music is promised for the darkening autumn. The concert will also feature young percussion virtuoso Justus Hautakangas.
