In this workshop you learn to build the bird whistle
In this workshop you learn to build the bird whistle. We use natural materials: wood, straw and cotton string. Julmu is a small bird whistle that has been used since the Stone Age. The workshop is suitable for children of all ages and the youngest with their parents. In the workshop, you will get to know different tools such as pruning shears, a file, a knife.
The participant does not need previous skills or knowledge, but after the workshop you will be one skill richer. When you build an instrument yourself, you understand how it sounds and how the choice of materials affects the sound. It creates a personal relationship!
