The Kaukajärvi suburb is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and is the oldest of Tampere's suburbs. The Kaukajärvi Association's new book publication will be on sale at the event.

Päivi Hirvonen is one of Finland's emerging international folk music artists and a pioneer of simultaneous violin playing and singing. You can hear the cinematic nature, the diverse roots of folk music and influences from pop music. Päivi Hirvonen brings ancient stories and Finnish tradition to the present day, seasoned with Gothic mysticism. A strong, deep voice is intertwined with a rooty violin and a mystical strum.
Minä ja Nieminen is a colorful electro-acoustic band from Tampere, which plays electronic indie rock. The songs are created by Teemu Kiiskilä, Henrika Nieminen and Rinna Ahlman, using electronic and acoustic instruments. Me and Nieminen gather influences from many sources and boldly combine tones of folk, afrobeat, blues, funk and electronic rhythm music.
Changes are possible.
