Music on the Cathedral organ surrounded by symbolist church art!
British-American organist Colin Andrews will perform the music of Olivier Messiaen and Johann Sebastian Bach.
Experienced organist Andrews has performed all over the world since the 1980s, including Japan and South America. Andrews has recorded Olivier Messiaen's entire organ output and has served on the jury of several organ competitions.
At the beginning of the concert, Andrews will play Bach's music on the baroque-style organ in the side gallery. The main organ will feature music by Herbert Howells and Joseph Bonnet. The concert will culminate with excerpts from Olivier Messiaen's work Livre du Saint Sacrement from 1984.
