The Runoware event, inspired by Tupperware invitations, will focus on poetry through discussion. Tommi Parkko will talk about the publications of his publishing house and what poetry is and why it is considered difficult to approach. There will also be a book sale.


Tommi Parkko is a poet, creative writing teacher and publisher. Parkko's fifth poetry collection, Donkeys and Shadows (Aviador), will be published in February 2026. In addition to poetry collections, he has written five non-fiction books about poetry, the latest of which, Runoilijan täytööpakki (Avain), was published in 2021. Parkko runs the publishing house Parkko, which specializes in publishing translated poetry.


The discussion will be held on Friday 21 November. 8:15 p.m.-10 p.m. at the Space of Possibilities (Selininkatu 5, Tahmela/Pispala, Tampere) after the Anomuksia Evoluutiolle performance. The discussion is part of the Anomuksia Evoluutiolle instructional program. The event is free of charge and people who were unable to see the performance are also welcome.


The event will also feature the Kuronen&Kiiski herkkukafhila, where you can buy vegan savory and sweet treats for small change.
