Macbeth

Blood leads to blood, so the saying goes. 

A new musical tragedy based on William Shakespeare's classic play, the tunes of which range from the dark waters of viola melodies to razor-sharp guitar solos. The live band of the performance will sweep the audience and the performers into the maelstrom of tragedy without forgetting the comedy. 

Macbeth meets three witches, whose prophecies drive Macbeth and Lady Macbeth to unforgivable acts, which they nevertheless forgive each other. After his rise to power, the paranoid Macbeth sees enemies everywhere, and perhaps with good reason, because Scotland, under the control of a mentally unstable tyrant, is in turmoil. Macbeth must regain control of both his own mind and his people. Fate's minions, the witches, however, walk among the citizens and rush the story towards its harsh end.

Life is but a wandering shadow, a melancholy actor who wanders his time on stage and then falls silent; it is a story, told by a ghost, full of screams and rage, but still ultimately meaningless. 

The estimated duration of the performance is 2 hours and 40 minutes including intermission.
