Somekupla

Somekupla is a theatre performance by Äärirajattomat amateur theatre, which will premiere in April 2026.

Aapo and Jasmiina meet each other on Tinder. Along with their mutual interest, there is also a fear of what if nothing comes of it. The plot is spiced up by confusing social media influencers, slick online scammers and special energy treatments. Sometimes you have to stop and think, does producing social media content sometimes just require hard legwork?

The play uses satire to discuss the power, threats and opportunities of social media. It is a story about people inside and outside the social media bubble. Basically, it is all about the worries, dreams and longing for love of ordinary people. Is life more social on the other side of the screen?
