Pirkanpojat presents the repertoire for their forthcoming concert tour of Germany, featuring masterpieces by J. S. Bach, Anton Bruckner and Felix Mendelssohn, alongside Finnish gems by Jean Sibelius and Leevi Madetoja. The programme also includes a selection of game music.
The purpose of the concert tour is to strengthen collaboration between boys’ choirs, to showcase Finnish music, and to deepen the choir’s understanding of German culture. The partners for the tour in Germany, taking place from 22 February to 1 March 2026, are the Hannover Boys’ Choir (directed by Jörg Breiding) and the Göttingen Boys’ Choir (directed by Michael Krause), who will also host the friendship concerts.
Pirkanpojat Boys Choir is supported by the City of Tampere and the Tampere Parish Union. The concert tour is additionally supported by K‑Supermarket Löytis.
