Jaakko Tuomainen - KAHVILLA TAAS

My intention has been to have fun. Little time, meters of paper to fill. To be as "ukiyo" as possible and enjoying the moment. The works are mixed media on paper and were created between June 25th and August 2nd. Such a rush of work has meant that I have been deliberately "on my coffee" - so that I have not necessarily been able to understand what was said to me and forget, for example. washing dishes and eatin. Jaakko Tuomainen (b.1981) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki in 2016, and the name of the exhibition refers to the café exhibition "with coffee, awake" (papu galleria/papu cafe, Helsinki 2016), which was part of his master's degree.
