Reissu-Rulla: To the Circus! performance

Reissu-Rulla heads to Peltolammi as part of the Neighborhood Party with the Kulttuuriosuuskunta Uulu's To the Circus! performance.

To the Circus! performance is music composed and performed to texts by Kirsi Kunnas, combined with circus techniques. It includes puppetry, audience participation and clowning. 

Kunnas' poems, composed for the performance, will take the audience to the wonderful magical world of the circus, accompanied by the kantele, ukulele, clarinet and Silja Palomäki's atmospheric voice. You will see the plates spinning at high speed and the trapeze artists flying! Ponies tap dancing, a strongman getting help from the audience - and much more. Simon Llewellyn moves between different circus techniques, including puppetry, audience participation and clowning.

The Neighborhood Party is an event organized by Ahjolan Setlementti's Kotila in the courtyard of Ruokomäenkatu 11 in Peltolammi at 4 to 7 PM. Reissu-Rulla, which navigates through the city districts, brings play,, participatory and community-based art workshops to families with children in the areas. Reissu-Rulla is a concept aimed at Tampere's city districts, which aims to increase accessibility, inclusion and community for families with children.
