As St. Patrick's Day is near, Huvila gets into the Irish spirit when Eala arrives for a gig. At the same time, the band's album release is celebrated!
Eala is a band that has been together for over ten years, and its members all have a long history in Irish music. They have gained experience performing both abroad and in Finland. Eala brings a breath of Irish mysticism, folklore and an immediate atmosphere close to the listener. The melodies and songs that play in Irish pubs and homes lead the audience on a journey of thought to green moors, roaring seas, stories and experiences.
The catchy and light reels and jigs make your feet and heart pound to the beat of the music, and the melancholic airs and waltzes flow with longing. Songs in English and Irish tell stories from times gone by, and Eala's own new compositions seamlessly blend into Irish traditions with Finnish spices.
