Elojuhlaorkesteri plays instrumental music and songs celebrating life, blending influences from Nordic and Irish folk music with a cinematic atmosphere.
Elojuhla-orkesteri was formed in 2022 for a birthday festival. It plays compositions by Lauri Myllylä. Instrumental compositions are influenced by folk music from different countries, especially from Ireland and Finland. Songs with lyrics convey the beauty and pain of life, and often times they are dedicated to real persons. The orchrestra was formed to celebrate life, and we hope that listening to our music could be also a celebration of life.
