Tango–Guitar–Flamenco Week: Masterclass, classical guitar: Patrik Kleemola
Kleemola, who performs around the world, is one of the leading classical guitarists in Northern Europe. He is known as a soloist, chamber musician and advocate of historical repertoire and new music. His passion for early 19th century guitar music, and especially Fernando Sor, has led him to research original sources and international scholarly work. At the same time, his long collaboration with contemporary composers has expanded the guitar repertoire with dozens of new works.
The course is free of charge. Course places will be announced in early September based on applications.
The event is part of the Tango–Guitar–Flamenco Week program. Tampere Tango Festival, Tampere Guitar Festival and Tampere Flamenco Week together form the Tango—Guitar—Flamenco Week, which will be held from 11 to 20 September 2026.
