BIRTHDAY AND BOOKCLUB INTRODUCTION

It is my first birthday in Tampere so I had the idea to do two things at once. 1. Celebrate my birthday and 2. invite people to join the Intercultural media club I am starting. Tampere has been one of the most welcoming places for me since my arrival and I have met so many wonderful people along the way.

This will be my first birthday away from home and in Tampere and I wanted to make it a community event to fill the gaps that come with being away from home. So if you would like to meet new people through the birthday or just come and sign up to be part of the RIOTT bookclub or you just want to drop by and see what is going on, you are welcome.

This event will be in the park and I will bring snacks but I don't know how many people will be able to make it so you can bring snacks as well and we can share. The main reason for the event is just to bring people together and for people to make new friends. I hope the weather will be ok. Please bring a blanket, some snacks if you would like, games, music, you can bring a craft project to do, it is all upto you.

English is the main language of communication because I am still trying to learn Finnish. Everyone is welcome.
