Welcome to celebrate the opening of Neighborhood Week and the publication of our history with us on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 3–6 p.m.
Neighborhood Week invites you to join us in building a caring everyday life for your neighborhood. Neighborhood is created in everyday encounters: greetings, helping, and smile! Neighborhood starts with you!
The event begins with an opening speech and the publication of the Setlementti Tampere history, with Juho Saari, professor of social and health policy, as the keynote speaker. Music will be provided by Artisti Koralli, Drum Group Jamora, and DJ Karkki-Kerttu. Shouting poet Eero will roar poems! The day's program includes performers and entertainment for all ages, from babies to grandparents.
The program also includes a barbecue, resource tree work, you can have your blood pressure measured in the midst of a festive atmosphere or try bouncing bubbles with a friend!
The event is open to everyone and free of charge.
