Tango–Guitar–Flamenco Week: Palago (ESP), Music, We and the World Concert

Folk songs from Mexico, Brazil and Spain will be heard during the concert. Singing and various musical instruments offer the participants a unique and memorable experience. Especially suitable for the elderly, as enjoying music and interaction are at the center of the activity.

Paloma Català Parga is a Spanish music pedagogue and musician with long experience in teaching and performing music holistically. Iago Castro Pérez is a Spanish cellist, composer and music teacher who has been teaching and performing for over 18 years. They founded the band PALAGO in Tampere in 2020.

The performance is carried out in cooperation with the city of Tampere, Jälleenrakentajat cooperative, Kaleva Hall and Tampere Flamenco Week.

The event is part of the Tango–Guitar–Flamenco Week program. The Tampere Tango Festival, the Tampere Guitar Festival and the Tampere Flamenco Week together form the Tango—Guitar—Flamenco week, which takes place from 11 to 20 September 2026.
