Kortetcello: Songs by Hector and Kaj Chydenius

Kortetcello is a Tampere-based duo whose repertoire ranges from Italian schlager and British rock to Finnish ballads, all performed in the group's own arrangements for cello, guitar, and vocals. This year's major project has been the creation of a concert programme dedicated to the songs of Hector and Kaj Chydenius. The duo recently premiered the programme at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival, where it received an enthusiastic response. Now Kortetcello opens its autumn season by bringing the complete Kaustinen programme to Bar Oma in Tammela on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 PM. The concert will feature some of the best-known songs by Hector and Chydenius, along with a few lesser-known gems. Admission is free. Welcome!
