Night of the Museums in Laikku and Rulla

On the Night of the Museums Culture House Laikku, will be open later than usual, until 9 pm! The Rulla Children's Cultural Centre will also open its doors for the evening from 6 pm to 9 pm. in addition to its normal opening hours. Come and enjoy the atmosphere at the exhibitions, enjoy musical performances and make art at Rulla's art workshop. Event is free of charge!

Programme at Laikku (2nd floor)

6 PM Opening of new exhibitions. Exhibition by Milla Kuisma and Ville Räty will open in Gallery. In the studio will open Sannu Vaarala's Vibrancy exhibition.

At 6:30 PM, 7:15 PM and 8:15 PM the a capella group Dominutz will perform. The performances last about 15 minutes and will feature classic pop music songs.

Night of Wonders and Peculiarities in Rulla (1st floor)

During the Night of the Museums we are wondering and pondering in Children's Cultural Centre Rulla. In the Näpsä’s exhibition What on Earth, you can do small searching quests and investige who is adventuring in the exhibition's fairy-tale worlds. In Rulla's art workshop, you can design peculiar and funny creatures.  

All program and guidance in Rulla is also in English. 

Kahvila Laikku is also open until 9 pm. Late Night Brunch is available until 8 pm. In addition, delicious café products and drinks are on sale.

The Night of Museums is an annual event in Tampere, where museums and cultural sites open their doors in the evening and offer a diverse program. The event starts at 6 pm and continues until midnight. There are 30 venues and over 100 program items, such as exhibitions, guided tours, lectures, music and workshops. The event wristband (17 €) gives access to all otherwise paid venues and the opportunity to use the Museum Night buses that run between the venues.
