Night of the Museums in Rulla: dreams and daydreaming, art workshops, exhibitions
What are your dreams made of? During the Night of the Museums on 16th of May, you can participate in art workshops and dream your way through surprising spaces.
All programs and guidance are also available in English. The program is suitable for all ages.
Please note that Children’s Cultural Centre Rulla is located on the ground floor of the Culture House Laikku. The main entrance to Rulla is accessible and can be found at the side of Laikku next to Tampere Theatre.
AT 17–20 WORKSHOP: COLLAGE OF DREAMS
What dreams are you made of and what do you like? In this workshop, you can create your own character on a giant sheet of paper, filling it with drawings and collage-style elements inspired by the things you dream about and enjoy.
AT 17–20 WORKSHOP: DIY BINOCULARS
In this workshop, you can design dream-gazing binoculars from recycled materials for exploring the Love It! exhibition. What wonderful things can you see through the binoculars?
AT 17–20 PLAN YOUR DREAM PARTY AT RULLA´S PARTY OFFICE
Plan important party matters at the office desk, think about pink dreams, dress up in your dream festive outfit or organize a nice tea party for friends and family.

Dive into the cute plush toy pool, take a nap on the pillows and dream for a while.
AT 17–20 TAIDEKAARI’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION LOVE IT!
The 20th anniversary exhibition of Tampere’s cultural education program Taidekaari highlights children’s perspectives on art. he theme of the exhibition is celebration, and it was curated by students from classes 4A and 4B at Peltolammi school in Tampere. On the Night of Museums, visitors can explore the works at the exhibition, do fun quests, and look at the artworks from different angles with self-made binoculars.
