Hiedanranta is bustling with creative energy, and there is plenty of public art in the area that is meant to bring joy, strengthen the identity of the new district and create meaningful meeting places. On the Hiedanranta Street Art Tour, you can explore the city district's pieces.

The old factory buildings in Hiedanranta are colored by art pieces painted at the Mimmit peinttaa 2025 Hiedanranta street art event, alongside previously created murals. In the summer of 2025, 16 female artists from around the world participated in the Mimmit peinttaa street art event, and their works enliven the urban space of Hiedanranta in a unique way.

During the tour, you will hear stories about the art pieces, the artists and the international street art event. The tour offers an opportunity to see the city district from a different perspective and learn about the importance of public art as part of the urban environment.

The street art tour starts next to the Tehdas tram stop, at the foot of the Kuivaamonaukio stairs.

The tour guide will be artist Viv Magia. The tours, which are free to the public, are organized by Hiedanrannan Kehitys Oy.
