Welcome to the Tampere residents' evening in Nekala!
Tampere residents' evenings are relaxed events where residents, local associations and the city meet and interact with each other. You can drop by for a moment or stay the whole evening.
The event is open to everyone - even the youngest members of the family are welcome! There is no admission fee. Coffee, juice and snacks will be served.
During the evening, you can learn about the following topics and share your views on them:
- The Nekala Cultural Center Nekalab and the area's vibrant cultural and artistic activities
- Preparation of the Southern Phased Master Plan, schedule and residents' participation in the different stages of the planning work
- Reform of public transport in the area
- Public art in the city
The event will feature deputy mayors with whom you can discuss issues related to the area.
You will also get to know the housing advice of the City of Tampere and the service assistant activities of the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa, which are intended for those who have difficulty moving around alone using public transport.
The evening will culminate in musical performances by the Legioonateatteri's Peace Choir and singer-songwriter Samae Koskinen.
The event will follow the City of Tampere's safer space principles.

- The event will be held at the Nekala Cultural Centre Nekalabi at Lounaantie 2, 33800 Tampere.
- Nekalab can be reached by bus number 14. The stop is called Nekala koulu.
- Nekalab does not have parking spaces for people with disabilities. Parking is limited in the area.
Event staff will assist with accessibility issues if needed.
