Earth Ears Ensemble: Tell me how it moves and I'll tell you how it sounds

This concert explores the relationship of sound, movement and gesture. Where does sound come from, what precedes it and what is left when it is gone? How does our perception of sound change when movement is added? What sound do we expect to hear when we see a particular gesture?

The programme brings together four premieres and works where movement either generates a sound gesture or is generated through listening to sound. The Earth Ears Ensemble invites the audience and performers to take a playful journey towards a more acute sense of hearing and sight.
