Pride in Laikku: March Pre-Party

Welcome to Culture House Laikku's Pride Pre-Party!

Stars of the event will be the fabulous Tampereen Kuningattaret drag group! Carrie, Tina the Balleriina and Aurora the Queen of Stars will perform in Lecture Hall at 12:30-13. You'll hear excerpts from their 'Kupliva Kesäkabaree' and 'Kolmas pyörä' shows. The queens will perform live, accompanied by pianist Olli Heikkinen.

In the Lecture Hall (2nd floor), from 11:00 to 13:30, there will be a sign-making workshop, a glitter station, and carnival accessory crafting, along with refreshments. Additionally, the art exhibitions (2nd and 3rd floors) and Laikku Café will be open.

The Children's Cultural Center Rulla will be open from 10:00. In Rulla's art workshop, flower decorations will be made from 10:00 to 16:00.

At 13:30, we will move to Keskustori to prepare for the march in which the city of Tampere is participating. The mayor's office will lead the parade, and the pride flags distributed by the city will convey a message of equality. Our 'Tampere For All' group offers an open and welcoming place in the parade for everyone who wants to participate – including those who do not have their own group or company.
