Right to dream - Demonstration

14.2.2026

14.00 - 16.00

Keskustori 1, 33200 Tampere and other locations

The event aims to defend equality, human dignity and a just future, and to raise concerns about the impact of political decisions on people's everyday lives.

On Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM, we will gather in Hämeenpuisto, at the Statue of Liberty, and march along Hämeenkatu to the Central Square. After a short program, we will briefly form a human chain in the city center, holding hands, to depict the kind of communal, solidary and empathetic Finland we want to live in.

The demonstration is open for everyone, peaceful and suitable for the whole family.

Fundamental and human rights are indivisible, but hope is also needed for a dignified life. Everyone, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, disability, health status or social or economic status, has the right to dream.

What do you dream about? Make a sign and come and join us in demonstrating for a better future for Finland and the whole planet.

HUMAN RIGHTS BELONGS TO EVERYONE! OUR SOCIETY BELONGS TO EVERYONE! DREAMING BELONGS TO EVERYONE!
