Come to Finlayson to be inspired by the 9.EQT contemporary textile art triennial and take part in a workshop.
9.EQT (9. European Quilt Triennale) consists of high-quality modern textile and quilt art works made in Europe, selected through a competition.
The exhibition is open in the Vooninki space from 17.1.-15.2.2026 from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 4 Closed on Mondays. Free admission.
TILKKUILU workshops are guided by Taito Pirkanmaa you can make your own quilts, either to join them into a collective art work or to take them home as jewelry
The instructor will be present at the workshop
Sat 17.1. and 14.2 from 11-15.
The workshop fee of 5€ also includes the material.
The workshop will be in Vooning during the exhibition. At other times, you can patchwork at the workstation during the exhibition's opening hours on your own using the pictures and leave your piece as part of the joint work.
The patches will be assembled in the workshop on 14.2. as a collective work of art.
