Nuorten Manse Pride: It's all about YOUth

At the Youth Pride House on Wednesday 11.6.:

It's all about YOUth 🌟

i.e. activities produced by the youth themselves, an art workshop and as always, a chance to just chill and relax! At the Youth Council's (@nuorisovaltuutsto) booth from 4-7 pm you can test your knowledge of Pride flags, learn about the twists and turns of rainbow history and customize your own textiles with fabric dyes. Bring your own clothing to customize and make an impact with colors, words and symbols! We also have fabric scraps to use in customization!

The art workshop, organized in collaboration with Akaa Pride ry, will be about painting on the theme of Rainbow Utopia. The purpose of the workshop is to collect material for the Rainbow Utopia youth art exhibition to be held in Laaksola, Toijala, from 12 to 26 July 2025. Submitting your work is voluntary. All you need is clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, all other supplies are on site! What kind of world would you like to live in? Art workshop from 5-8 p.m.

The Youth Pride House is a meeting place for young people aged 13-25 who a part of the LGBTQI+ community and for those interested in the topics. The Youth Pride House is part of the Youth Manse Pride event week organized by the Youth Services of the City of Tampere. This year, Youth Pride House offers a different themed program for four days, but you can also just come and hang out. Youth Pride House is open during Manse Pride week from Tuesday to Friday and daily from 3–8 p.m. (except on Thursday, when it is extended until 10 p.m.). We follow the safer space guidelines in our activities. And as in previous years, the venue is the Youth Cultural Center, Monitoimitalo 13. Welcome!
