At the Easy Read Book Café, participants can explore easy-to-read books reviewed by Library Ambassadors, play board games, practise Finnish, and meet new people.
The event is primarily intended for people who are learning Finnish. Participation is free of charge, and no advance registration is required.
The Easy Read Book Café will meet once a month in autumn 2026 on Tuesdays: 11 August, 8 September, 6 October, 10 November, and 8 December, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Reima Hall of Hervanta Library. Welcome!
Library Ambassadors are a group of volunteers who work in cooperation with the library. They represent different languages and cultures, and in this way promote multiculturalism, meaningful encounters between people from diverse backgrounds, and learning opportunities within the library.
