Toivo Elossa festival will fill G Livelab Tampere for the third time with an eco-crisis-aware cultural program on Friday, July 10th at 7:00 PM. The event is free and open to everyone, regardless of age.
Toivo elossa Festival fills G Livelab Tampere for the third time with an eco-crisis-aware cultural programme on Friday, July 10, from 7 PM to midnight. The event is free and open to all ages.
Living amid multiple overlapping crises can often feel paralyzing. The climate is warming, biodiversity loss is accelerating, and soils are degrading. Wars destroy life, and consumption exceeds the Earth’s carrying capacity. Power and wealth are concentrated in the hands of a small elite and leaders who choose to look away. How can we maintain a sense of agency in the face of these threats?
Instead of merely waiting for better times, we can find hope in the present moment through one another: in collective action, community, and a good life lived in moderation within planetary boundaries, always striving for justice. Join us to gather and be inspired through culture!
Performers include indiefolk artist Olva, Tampere-based band Luhtaniitty, indie rock / bad dream pop band Pelko, Elokvartetti and a rebellious cover artist. There will also be speeches by Johanna Sinisalo, Raisa Foster and Karoliina Lummaa.
