Manse Pride in Vapriikki

Vapriikki will participate in Manse Pride Week on Wednesday 10 June! The information sessions of the World Cup through the ages exhibition will introduce you to the history of football and equality issues. The Postal Museum's program will collect Pride memories. The information sessions are included in the admission fee, and the commemoration is free. Vapriikki follows the principles of a safer space. Welcome!

Equality in Football Information Sessions at 2pm and 3pm

How have different equality issues been reflected in the World Cup and on football fields? The information session will give you the opportunity to hear about the history of football from the perspective of equality issues. Exhibition researcher Henrik Mattjus will be in the discussion. Information session duration 15–20 min.

17–19:00 Relive your Pride memories!

Have you participated in Pride for years or decades? Pride, self-expression, protest, empowerment, glamour, daring, park picnic: you can experience all of this and much more at Pride. Write or draw your own Pride memories and save them to the archive! The event will feature Hillevi and Lissu as role models. The event is implemented in collaboration with the Postal Museum, the Media Museum and Archive Merkki, and the Workers' Archive.
