The dance performance Laba dii Labadu – A Chest Full of Feelings takes over Laikku’s Music Hall on 10th of June at 1 PM.

Laba dii Labadu - A Chest Full of Feelings is a playful and warm-hearted dance piece that invites children into the fascinating world of emotions. The work shows how feelings move through the body, how they can sway, tremble, surprise or comfort. Inspired by children’s stories, this solo performance blends contemporary dance with physical theatre. Dancer Serja Vesterinen creates a character whose rich emotional life sparks curiosity and leads the audience on a shared journey from joy to sorrow and everything in between.

Because the piece relies on body language and the character speaks only a fantasy language, it is suitable for all children regardless of their language skills. The work encourages children to recognise and express their emotions - the ones we all carry with us.

The event includes both the performance and a workshop.
