Wonders and Odditiies performances open the autumn of the 20th anniversary year of the Children's Cultural Centre Rulla as part of OFF Tampere programme of Theatre Festival. The performances will be held on Saturday 9 August at 12 pm and 2 pm in the Music hall of the Culture House Laikku.
A little girl's diary from 1987 opens the door to a time when iPads had not been invented and telephones were plugged to the wall. Back then, people played outside with their friends and explored the wonders of nature. When Terhi finds a childhood diary in the attic, the writings come to life and introduce the audience to funny insects and sunny days of childhood.
The delightfully inventive puppet show consists of short stories that tell about the wonders of the local nature and its inhabitants. The aim of the performance is to inspire children to explore nature and help them understand its diversity.
How exciting a world can you find when you peek under a rock or look at a yard path up close?
The 2025 ITU performance is full of wonders.
