Rope speed dates

Finding new friends and a community in the ropes hobby can be challenging, and finding a new ropes partner is even more difficult. We want to provide a space where the threshold for meeting new people is as low as possible. This event offers a relaxed and safe space to find new acquaintances and potential ropes partners.

We will start the event with light group discussions and icebreakers that will help you talk about your hopes and expectations in the ropes community and ropes partners. Are you looking for a training buddy or a companion for workshops? Are you interested in rope dating, and if so, in what format? Or do you need a friend to attend jams and events with? After the group discussions, the actual speed dating part begins, where you can chat, try tying or just follow the atmosphere.

The event is open to all genders and experience levels. You don't need any previous experience with ropes: The most important thing is an open mind and a desire to meet new people.

We will be organizing three Rope speed dates on Monday, June 9th, 2025. The event will be a walk-in event and each start will accommodate 20 people. Starts at 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM. We will open the doors of Unisex at 3:30 PM. If there are spaces available, you can participate in more than one start.
