Katrin Stangl - What happened so far / Was bisher geschah

In August German award-winning artist and printmaker Katrin Stangl will visit Tampere.
In her exhibition „Was bisher geschah / Tapahtui tähän mennessä“ at Huvila Galleria she is
exhibiting different prints that appeal to our narrative imagination.
What has happened, what will happen next, what stories are the characters involved in?
Some of the works were created in connection with books, while others are independent
projects.
Katrin Stangl uses different techniques to illustrate literature as well as her own texts.
Since 2009 she is a member of the female artist-collective SPRING.
Katrin is teaching drawing at the University of Applied Sciences Aachen
and is known for her workshops and talks in Germany and abroad. Welcome to the opening on August 7th from 5-7pm at Tahmela Huvila, Uramonkatu 9.
