The nails are being pulled out and the wine is flowing like at a wedding in Cana! The Äärirja tour is coming to Pispala, Tampere, in honor of Good Friday. Kesy, Säädöt and Maida Vale will perform Ihmetekoajaan on the stage of Terassi Pub.
Kesy, a band from Kuopio who have received praise for their unique songs and energetic and atmospheric gigs, are celebrating their LP Äärirjan maisemissa, which will be released in the spring, with a tour and have invitede to join them in celebrating both local tones and southern ferocity. Kesy last delighted the people of Tampere last summer and now invites their listeners on a new adventure to the suburb bars of the past, the New York 77´ underground and the traditional Finnish storytelling tradition.
The long Friday will be started by Maida Vale from Tampere, who have performed throughout the years from rock clubs to small pubs, from festivals to private events. The band started their career with a line-up of vocals, cello and guitar. Over the years, more players have joined and last year the band's line-up experienced significant changes when half of the players changed. The band's lyrics have also changed to mainly Finnish keilis after their first English EP.
From one mood to another, the evening will be led by Helsinki-based SÄÄDÖT, who create punky Finnish rock on stage, whose self-titled debut album was released in September 2025. The band's soundscape is suitably diverse and the band draws its inspiration from wherever it pleases, in a less genre-specific way. The themes of the songs include both the twists and turns of human relationships and real-life crime stories - without forgetting the socially critical tones.
