“Come and see, if halloween creatures are still scary with roller skates on, dancing at a roller disco!”
Manse Quads ry, together with Tampere Roller Derby, is creating light art and hosting a roller disco for all the night’s creatures, in the spirit of Halloween. From outside the window, viewers can watch how the monsters and other spooky beings have fun as the dark autumn evenings set in, before heading off on their haunting rounds.

Quad skating as a sport includes a wide range of skating styles and disciplines, but the use of quad-style roller skates is what ties them all together. For some, quads might evoke fast-paced, physical roller derby or flashing roller discos; for others, they might mean daring tricks on skate ramps, or perhaps something completely different. Together we quad skaters form one big, diverse, and unique community.
Manse Quads ry aims to bring together quad skaters in the Tampere area and increase awareness of the sport, number of skaters, and especially skating opportunities in the Tampere region. However, we sometimes take our quads on the road and skate in other places too. Currently, quad skating in Tampere is limited primarily by the lack of spaces, and we hope that raising awareness of the sport will help solve this issue.
The core values of the quad skating scene are inclusivity, non-discrimination, and equality. Everyone is welcome to join this sport exactly as they are!

Window Walkabout is the largest art event ever in the Tampere Region (a.k.a. Pirkanmaa), where windows filled with light and art serve as stages.
The event will take place in October and November across 20 municipalities in Pirkanmaa, involving up to a thousand cultural creators.
