The Autumn Shine

The Autumn Shine is the students' visual art works in the middle of the darkness. Sastamala Opisto offers nearly 1,000 free education courses each year. The windows have been compiled with the works of a few students of visual and handicraft courses, from young artists to experienced artists. Groups 1 and 2 of the basic education in visual arts deals with the theme of light and shadow by means of masking and collage. They are studying both the description of movement and the importance of light as an image maker with the help of the concept of silhouette. Within the framework of the theme, the students of advanced studies reflect on finer-tuned shades of light and shadow in the world of tonal grays.
