An open session for playing Irish folk music. We will play reels, jigs and polkas from sheet music at a leisurely tempo so that even first-time players can follow. Welcome to play or listen!
Welcome to the Irish Traditional Music Session. We will play Irish folk music, such as reels, jigs and polkas, in a slow session spirit, and at a leisurely tempo. All acoustic instrument players are welcome to come and play with a low threshold (sheet music provided), or just listen and enjoy. This is a great opportunity to get to know the world of Irish folk music and session playing. The event is organized by the Irish Music Society of Tampere ry
