Lunchtime music – inspirations from Bach and Beethoven

Film music and works that otherwise cannot or would not dare to be performed publicly in church.

The Wappu concert, which has already become a tradition, also features music directly from the hearts of Tampere and its people.

The organ is a one-woman orchestra,

which lends itself to a wide variety of, even surprising, moods.

Among others, Hans Zimmer, Anssi Tikanmäki, Benny Andersson.

Katja Mäkiö is the cantor of the Tampere Cathedral Congregation, an organist with an A-level qualification and a singing teacher.

Admission to the concert is free and lasts approximately 30 minutes.
